Egypt's Vision 2030
Egypt Vision 2030 is a national agenda launched in February 2016. It reflects the state's long-term strategic plan to achieve the principles and goals of sustainable development across all sectors and localize them across various Egyptian state agencies. Egypt Vision 2030 is based on the principles of "comprehensive sustainable development" and "balanced regional development." It reflects the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, the social, and the environmental. Believing that strategies are living documents, Egypt decided in early 2018 to update its sustainable development agenda with the participation of all stakeholders and development partners to keep pace with changes occurring in the local, regional, and global context.
